抗战期间，罗生特医生曾在山东省沂蒙山区与当地军民并肩战斗，在莒南期间积极参与山东军区卫生部的领导工作和附属所的临床医疗以及卫生学校的教学工作，以精湛的医术和高尚的医德赢得了当地人民永远的尊重和怀念。罗生特来后有9年供职人民军队，历任大军区医学顾问、纵队卫生部部长，中国共产党特别党员。罗生特是一位救死扶伤的医生，他在中国救过多少人已无从统计。陈毅将军赞扬他是“活着的白求恩”。罗生特医生是第二次世界大战以来中奥两国友谊史上最重要的人物，为中华民族的抗战及解放事业贡献了青春和才智，是两国友谊的象征。
为缅怀罗生特医生的丰功伟绩，纪念这位抗日战争和世界反法西斯战争的伟大战士，我校成立了罗生特研究中心并拟举办罗生特在华事迹展，对罗生特医生的国际主义和人道主义精神以及他对中国军队和地方卫生事业、医学教育、医德建设等方面的卓越贡献进行深入研究和充分展示。现向社会各界和海内外友好人士征集有关罗生特的生平图片、音像、实物以及相关书籍、报刊、文学艺术作品及回忆录等资料。
一、征集方式
（一）接受捐赠。对无偿捐赠的物品由学校永久保管，展出时将以适当方式注明捐赠者。
（二）代管与复制。对珍贵资料、实物等，学校可代为保管（双方签订保管协议），或复制后返还原件，展出时标明出处。
（三）借展与购买。通过借用展示的方式弥补资料的不足，或学校在与提供者协商基础上对珍贵资料或实物通过合理价格进行购买。
（四）口述提供。对于年事较高的老同志、老专家，学校可派人前往录音、录像，并做好影像记录保存。

（About Collecting the Relevant Historical Materials of Dr. Rosenfeld）

To whom it may concern:
Jacob Rosenfeld was a great fighter of internationalism. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Dr. Rosenfeld used to work in the Yimeng Mountain Area of Shandong province with the local Chinese army and people. His medical expertise and ethics won him great respect and eternal memory of the local people.
In Ju’nan County of Shandong Province where Dr. Rosenfeld had worked, a four-meter-high marble statue of his whole body was erected and Ju’nan People’s Hospital was named after him. Dr. Rosenfeld was the most important figure in the history of Austria-China friendship since World War II because he devoted his youth and intelligence to the anti-Japanese War and the War of Liberation in China.
To commemorate Dr. Rosenfeld’s great contributions as a great internationalist during the anti-Japanese War and the anti-Fascist war, Shandong Medical College has founded a Luo Shengte research institution. This institution aims to study his spirit of internationalism and humanitarianism as well as his contributions in Chinese army building, local health service, medical education and medical moral construction. The research institution is now collecting the relevant materials of Dr. Rosenfeld, such as pictures, books，material objects, newspapers and periodicals, works of literature and art and reminiscence etc. We are now looking forward to getting your advice or any other kinds of support for this collection activity by calling or sending mails.
As to the valuable materials from you, we are willing to get access to them through purchasing, copying, temporary borrowing or permanent archiving for relevant academic studies under your agreement.
We will initiate a series of special activities to commemorate Dr. Rosenfeld’s great contributions. Anyone concerned is welcome to participate in the academic and cultural exchanges to be held in our school.

罗生特简介
雅各布•罗森费尔德（中文名“罗生特”），犹太裔奥地利人，1903年1月出生，1927年毕业于奥地利维也纳大学医学院并获医学博士学位。
1938年，纳粹德国侵占奥地利, 罗生特被关进纳粹集中营。1939年来到上海。1941年参加新四军，开始使用“罗生特”的中文名。1942年经陈毅和钱俊瑞介绍加入中国共产党。1943年，罗生特来到八路军山东军区，被任命为卫生顾问。抗战胜利后，罗生特担任东北野战军一纵卫生部长。1949年新中国成立不久，罗生特返回奥地利， 1952年病逝于以色列。

A Brief Biography of Luo Shengte
Jacob Rosenfeld，a Jewish Austrian, whose Chinese name was Luo Shengte, was born in January, 1903. He graduated from the Medical School of Vienna University with a doctorate in general medicine in 1927.
When Nazi Germany swallowed up Austria in 1938, Dr. Rosenfeld was arrested and later put in a concentration camp. He fled to Shanghai in 1939. Two years later, he joined the New Fourth Army and began to use his Chinese name “Luo Shengte”. Introduced by Chen Yi and Qian Junrui, he joined the Communist Party of China in 1942. In 1943, Dr. Rosenfeld went to the Eighth Route Army and was appointed as senior health consultant. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Dr. Rosenfeld was sent to the Northeast China and was appointed as Health Minister in the Northeast Field Army. Soon after the People's Republic of China was founded in 1949, Dr. Rosenfeld returned to Australia and died of an illness in Israel in 1952.
