To commemorate the 115th birth anniversary of Dr.Jacob Rosenfeld, a special member of CPC and a great fighter of internationalism, a series of commemorative activities will be held in Shandong Medical College from November 2017 to January 2018. Here is the related statement:

I Theme

To commemorate Dr. Rosenfeld’s great contributions during the anti-Fascist war and the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, to recall hisprofound friendship with the Chinese people, and to learn from his spirit of internationalism and humanitarianism, the activities, under the guidance of the 19th National Congress of CPC, are to be held to promote the reform of medical education and the development of medical care, and thus contribute to the construction of a healthy China.

1.Essay-writing activityfrom November 1 to December 20, 2017.

2. Related pictures, reports and papers called, to be received preferably from November 1 to December 15, 2017.

3. Dr. Rosenfeld Commemorative Pictorial to be published in December, 2017.

4.A conference commemorating the 115th anniversary of his birth, to be held from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.January 11, 2018.

III Relevant statement

1.Jacob Rosenfeld, who made great contributions to the World Anti-Fascist War and Chinese People's Liberation Warwith his superb medical skills and fighting spirit, has been one of the important figures in the history of Chinese-Austrian friendship since World War II. People concerned are welcome to participate in the commemorative activities to be held in our school.

2.The commemorative activities, in line with the Eight-point Guidelines issued by the CPC leadership in December 2012 and the related provisions, are to be held in the principle of solemnity and substantial economies.
